When the Iron Bird Flies

"When the Iron bird flies and horses run on wheels, the Tibetan people will be scattered like ants across the face of the earth and the dharma will come to the land of the red men."

This prophesy is attributed to the great Tantric master Padmasambhava who lived in the 8th century and who brought Buddhism to Tibet.

"When the Iron Bird Flies" is a documentary about the fulfillment of this prophesy 1200 years later and the changing spiritual landscape in America. It is the story of the transplantation of the dharma. It is the story of peace and compassion, destruction and regeneration, and change.

Viva la Guadalupe

Our Lady of Guadalupe, the mother guardian "of all folk of every kind", who has penetrated the lives of millions of devotees for hundreds of years is the focus of this documentary. The Guadalupe is the Protectress, a central figure of numerous festivals and pilgramages, and the subject of a vast artistic and pop culture. The popular story of the Guadalupe took place in 1531 in Tenochtitlan, today Mexico City, when the Virgin Mary appeared four times to Juan Diego, a christianized Aztec.
